Arizona is a beautiful state to visit, and is especially spectacular during the fall, winter, and spring months where it is cold in much of the rest of the USA. Although the Grand Canyon will be colder than the rest of Arizona, it is still an ideal time to visit the Grand Canyon. The Grand Canyon is accessible from both Phoenix and Las Vegas.
The North Rim is likely to be closed still in March, but you can see the sights from both the West and South Rims. Your family will enjoy the breathtaking views, and the hiking as well! And if you pack accordingly and the weather cooperates, a hike down to the bottom and backup is a great way to spend your time! It’s certain to be a top trip for your kids to remember!
2. Disney World, Florida or Disneyland, California
Depending on where you live, Disney World or Disneyland are both ideal locations for Spring Break… but be aware, it is one of the top destinations for families for Spring Break, so you’ll probably not be the only ones with that idea. Disney is a once-in-a-lifetime trip for many families, and Spring Break is the perfect time to experience the wonder and beauty of a full Disney immersion!
