Due to the pandemic and schools closing worldwide, more educators and parents are looking for ways to keep children academically and physically fit at home. Online learning websites have become a great tool in helping parents teach their children at home while working alongside their teachers digitally to continue their education at home. However, as the pandemic cases increase and more children are falling behind in schools, they’re coming up with creative ways to help children stay ahead in their academics while being trapped at home.

This fun online learning website features a load of fun educational learning games for children in grades preschool up to 12th grade assisting students in the areas of math, reading, science, and social studies. What also makes this website very interesting is that it also has a learning section for college students and adults.

This website is great for younger children or children with low-functioning skills. This website has been a great tool for children entertained and learn at the same time. Sesame Street has been around for many years and children today love the interactive platform online. This website includes a variety of games, videos, arts, and social-emotional learning lessons for children to learn at home.

Not only is this website great for younger children but also great for older children as well. PBS Kids has been the leading children’s network for young children for many years. Get your child engaged in learning at home the fun way.
Kids National Geographic
One of my favorite websites to visit and have students learn about the world and the environment around them. I’ve used this website to help my students get into the habit of researching topics on their own and then presenting them to the classroom. This fun website includes over thousands of videos and games for children to explore online.
Storyline Online
This website helps children to get motivated to read independently. On this website, you can have your child or student listen to stories read to them by famous people and authors online and includes hundreds of books for parents and teachers to choose from.
Nearpod – Learning Websites
Nearpod is a great tool for homeschool parents and small private schools who can assign lessons to their children or students. On this platform, you can convert videos to PDF, PowerPoint, YouTube videos, Google Slides, and Video files. You can also teach through live sessions and a student-paced platform
Boardmaker – Learning Websites
Boardmaker is a complete special education platform that supports the education, communication, access, and social/emotional needs of more than six million students in 51 countries. At home, at school, or in clinical practice, Boardmaker drives your student’s success. This platform is also great for homeschooling parents and preschools wanting to work on behavior.

This website teaches kids to code at home or school using fun interactive games while providing teachers with a complete K-5 coding curriculum for the classroom.
