Ahh Halloween is one of my favorite Holidays of the season where you can get FREE candy! I mean what child or parent doesn’t like to receive FREE candy right?
If you’re new to this holiday Halloween is just simply a day where people dress up in costumes mostly children and go around to get FREE candy from their neighborhood, church, non-profit organization, or school.
But if you’re like me then you’re not only thinking about getting FREE candy but also how to make a profit on Halloween as well.
How to Make Money on Halloween and CASH out!
1. Sell Halloween Candles
Did you know that the candle-making business is a huge industry? Well, it’s an estimated 3.14 billion annually. I don’t know about you but something as simple as making candles and selling them on any holiday can replace your current job. I remember my dad making candles and selling them out of the back trunk of his car at work, church, and parking lots. Try making some Halloween candles and selling them 2 months in advance or on Halloween day itself. You will be surprised about how many people still celebrate Halloween year-round.
2. Theme Party
Okay, this may be the simplest way to make money on Halloween night and the fastest way because all you have to do is throw a theme party. All you have to do is charge a flat fee rate to get into your party at the door and count your money by the end of the night.

3. Babysitting on Halloween
I remember starting my babysitting service and opening my first day on a holiday of black Friday. When adults want to go out on specific nights like Valentine’s Day without the kids you can CASH out a lot of money because everyone is scrambling around trying to a find date while you’re promoting your babysitting services to watch their children for a fee rate of nothing less than $20/hour or more.
4. Affiliate Marketing
Don’t want to go out and sell anything in person. That’s okay with new technology and since the pandemic affiliate marketing has become more popular than ever. If you have a niche site revolving around this holiday or just the fall season in general this is a neat cool way to make money from the comfort of your own home. Just like this blog post, I included many affiliate links revolving around this holiday that you can use to decorate your home or sell to others.
5. Sell Halloween Costumes
Okay, so this one is a no-brainer, right? when we think about this holiday this is the number one thing that we’re mostly searching for on the internet right? Do you have old costumes in your closet that you don’t wear anymore? Reach into your closet right now and start selling on Facebook marketplace, Offer Up, or Craigslist.
6. Sell Halloween Bags
Yes, you can create your bags at home to sell from your door. Grab some brown bags from Dollar Tree where you can find just about any holiday decorations and design some cute bags to sell at your job, school, or church where you know that there will be a lot of children who need bags.
7. Halloween Decorator/Planner
My sister LOVES to plan just about anything from weddings and kids’ birthday parties to company events. So if you enjoy decorating every holiday and planning then try becoming an event planner or decorator for a day or night and charge a flat fee for decorating a neighbor’s or friend’s spooky party.
8. Driving Service
Do you have a car? Do you love driving around town? Then you may want to look into a driving service in your neighborhood for Halloween night where you drive around your neighbor’s kids and parents. Or you can drive them to their church, school, or community organization.
9. Sell Amazon KDP Halloween Coloring Books & Workbooks
Another cool way to make money on this scary spooky holiday is to sell your Halloween coloring books or fall workbooks. I created this fall fun activity workbook below with a Halloween theme for kids for theme to do activities related to math, reading, writing, and more. 10. Halloween Make-up Artist
Do you love makeup and coming up with new fresh ideas to paint people’s faces, arms, or legs? Then becoming a make-up artist just for a day or night is something that could be a very lucrative side gig for just one day. Think about when you’re putting on your costume and you want the whole effect only to be upset that you can’t design your face just like the Halloween picture on the bag. If you struggle with trying to put on your makeup and want to help others bring out their scary effect this is the job for you. “Make Money on Halloween “
