Because you should just start off with the things that you have already. I started this blog on this cheap HP Stream laptop for about $250 that quickly moved to WordPress and bought Bluehost. I needed something for graduate school after graduating from college when my dog threw up on my Toshiba laptop and the rest is history!

1. In-Home Child care Center
Yes! you read that right a in home child care center is a great way to start a lucrative business. But first please make sure you check out your local state licensing when providing care inside your home before you go out and purchase all of your items for your in home daycare. I do know for sure which is pretty standard that the room must be on the bottom floor and access to a bathroom which is also on the same bottom floor where the child can have access to using the bathroom.

2. Summer Day Camp
Another great use for your home is turning it into a summer day camp. With a day camp you don’t have to be licensed because it isn’t a residential camp and it doesn’t last for more than 3 months. Hey you don’t even have to have a full day camp that last from 7am-6pm but one that is half day from 8am-1pm just like half day preschools.
3. Sensory Play-Date Space
Well what the hack is a sensory play date? when it comes to anything sensory it’s a cool way to get any child excited about learning. How about host a play date for your friends and family and charge a flat fee for letting their child hang out up to 4 hours by law or charge by the hour. But like I said most states won’t let you provide care for another child that’s non related to you for more than 4 hours.

Ahhh the joys of not leaving your home and starting a online business from your bed. With technology now taking off and continue to become our future. There is no reason why you shouldn’t have a passive income in this day in age. Turn your home into a office space and open a E-Commence store online and sell locally and internationally or even both.
5. Barbershop
You don’t need a fancy building to open a barbershop only to drown in rental fees if you don’t own the building, and waiting for others to play you for rent space even if you do own it. Having clients come to your home has took off crazy in the hair industry once the pandemic touched down. Starting a hair shop inside your home is a great way to save on money on building fees, cut down on traffic, and become more personal with your clients in a safe space.
6. Pet Grooming Shop
Another great way to utilize your home is by starting a pet grooming business inside your home. Although mobile grooming pet services are popular well so are in home grooming pet shops. Cut your business bill in half by ditching the building and running your grooming shop inside your home.
