Blogging is something that will never go away!
Blogging is something that has been around for years and I wish I had started years ago like others did and would be making more than I would have been now. But that’s okay and I’m here to help you get started so that you don’t make the same mistake I did!
So these are the tips and things I did to get started and how I made $900 my first year blogging.
Started My Blog During a Pandemic!
Yes you read it right! I started my second first blog during March 2022 where everything around us was shutting down closing our country up for the pandemic. I only say that this is my second first blog because the first blog was absolutely horrible and I used WIX.com to get started. Wix is great for starting out but not for in the long run and WordPress is where you should really start, and Bluehost is the web hosting site that I use to run this blog. Find your Niche! What are you Good at?
Yes we can just blog about pretty much anything like something as simple as swimming or teaching other moms about how to get started blogging. But you want to blog about something that you really enjoy and can talk about for days! so I’m in the parenting/family niche because my gift is working with children. Find something that you’re an expert in or really good at talking about and just put it into writing, you just never know who you’re helping.
This is just a small screenshot below of all of the people I have reach throughout the world helping them with their problems through my blog. It’s so rewarding when they contact you to tell you how much you’ve help them.
Affiliate Marketing
You should really look into affiliate marketing when started any online business honestly! it’s very simple and can be done over and over a million times. Sell something like freelance services through a network like Fivver or give out money advice through various money programs such as Captial one see how I just included my affiliate links in this paragraph just now. But you should want to hit the big affiliate marketer programs like Share-A-Sale and Amazon and yes they did slash their commission rates. But let’s be honest as long as Jeff Bezos is alive Amazon isn’t going anywhere!
Sell your own Products!
Please don’t start any website or blog without selling your products as in the long run if you planned to make this a future career for yourself. Yes we can do Affiliate Marketing and it is great and no cost to start up, but there is nothing like creating and selling your own products that you created over a long period of time. Just check out these products below I’m currently selling on my site fore parents.
Offer your Services!
There are many different ways in which you can offer your services. While in the parenting niche I offered Tutoring services and also offering coaching and freelance services to parents as well. Don’t be shy or nervous about getting started just start and you will be amazed at how many people are in need of your services and expertise!. By offering your services you can reach a lot of people and help a lot of people. But you also want to be cautious of your time when deciding what services to give out because we all know that time is money.
